Guided Trail Run/Walk with BATS at SVC

6:00 pmSouthern Vermont College Trailhead- Upper Lot

Members of the Bennington Area Trail System (BATS) will host a guided trail walk/run on Tuesday, July 18th at 6pm meeting at the Trailhead Kiosk parking at the Upper Southern Vermont College parking lot. This is your chance to learn what BATS is all about and learn the trails!

Jim Sullivan of the Bennington County Regional Commission will lead a 3-4 mile guided run on the trails BATS maintains on Mount Anthony. Silvia Cassano, a BATS board member, will run sweep or lead any walkers (less distance for walkers). Kid friendly. Dogs welcome, but must be on a leash.

We may/may not go to Harvest Brewing after. If you have your BATS membership, you get a special deal.

Come and discover this amazing local resource with us. RSVP encouraged here or email

---This event is open to any SVMC or UCS staff and orginally we were going to host walks at SVMC trails that BATS maintains during the day, but the wash out the first weekend in July means we need to repair those trails. Stay tuned for more events.---
