Guided Trail Run/Walk with BATS at SVC

Members of the Bennington Area Trail System (BATS) invite you to a Guided Trail Run and Walk on Monday, September 25th at 5pm meeting at the Trailhead Kiosk parking at the Upper Southern Vermont College parking lot. This is your chance to learn what BATS is all about and learn the trails!

Join BATS Board of Directors member and exceptional athlete and advocate of health, wellness, and community, Tim Van Orden, on a short, guided walk. Or bring your running shoes and follow Silvia Cassano, a BATS Board of Directors Member and trail professional, and Jim Sullivan, Executive Director and Planning Program Coordinator for the Bennington County Regional Commission, on a 3-4 mile guided run. Come and discover this amazing local resource with us.

Event Free to the Public. Kid friendly. Dogs welcome, but must be on a leash. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes, and bring your own water. We may/may not go to Harvest Brewing after. If you have your BATS membership, you get a special deal.

—Please note hunting season starts soon and trail use closer to SVC campus is advised. Hunting is allowed on private land the BATS trails have permission to go on. Wear orange. Dog on leash, orange bandana… be smart…be safe.-
BATS is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit working with public and private landowners to plan, build, and maintain trails for sustainable, non-motorized use in and around the Bennington, Vermont area. BATS is a proud chapter of the Vermont Mountain Bike Association (VMBA), which helps support our chapter with grants and other resources that are important to our current and future success.
