Pump Track Project is a Go & Upcoming BATS Events

Posted on Posted in Blog

Exciting News! The proposed pump track for Stark Street Playground/Park has been approved by the Bennington Select  Board this past Monday. Our timeline, if all goes well will need volunteers in September/October (if not earlier) to help with final detail work on the pump track, and around it.

We have sought a pump track design consult and will be seeking donations of the clay and loam (packable) material, as well as native shrubs.

We will keep providing updates as we have them, and we are excited about this project. Please note, if you use Stark Street for access to the trails, try to bike there or park neatly in the provided lot to respect the neighbors. Thanks!

Here is the link to the Select Board meeting on 7/23 (we went over time, but it starts at 26 minutes until ~1 hr 26 minutes)
